Heute haben wir dem Bürgermeister der Stadt Herten, Uli Paetzel unser Nutzungskonzept vorgestellt. Schon seit Jahren macht sich der SPD-Politiker stark für mehr Leben in der alten Zeche.
Peter Postus, Tina Marczinski und Kathi Schmidt sind am heutigen Montag einer Einladung des Bürgermeisters Uli Paetzel gefolgt. Thema des Treffens war die ehemalige Zeche Schlägel und Eisen. In Kooperation mit der Stadt und anderen Institutionen möchten wir die brach liegenden Duschen und Kauen der ehemaligen Schachtanlage 3/4/7 für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich machen. Langfristig sollen in der alten Insdustrieanlage Kultur- und Sportangebote veranstaltet, sowie ein gastronomisches Angebot etabliert werden.
Hertens Bürgermeister Uli Paetzel zeigte sich sehr offen und interessiert für unsere Ideen und Ziele. Als zukünftiger Klub Schlägel & Eisen freuen wir uns auf eine gedeihliche Zusammenarbeit mit der Stadt Herten.
